Vietnam and Belarus enjoyed a fine traditional relations of friendship and multi-faceted cooperation. The two countries officially established diplomatic relations on 24 January 1992 and  the Vietnamese Embassy in Belarus  was opened in Octorber 2003. Relations between Vietnam and the Republic of Belarus have developed quickly in all fields including political, economic, scientific and technical cooperation
